    Hi,

anybody can confirm the type of DVI connections for the following:

    - Beocenter 6-23. Is it DVI-I?

    - Beosystem 3. Is it DVI-D?

    - Beovision 4-50 or Beovision 4-65: Is it DVI-D?

    - Beovision 7-40. Is it DVI-D?

    Re: DVI-D and DVI-I

    Its DVI-1

DVI dual works as well- it just has more pins that dont do anything!

For the record I experimented with some very expensive cables and they did not do much to improve an already great picture- has to be said the B&O ones looke rather poor quality for the prices they were asking.

For the record the best quality cables that many home cinema installers use is lindy.com  I have connected mine with a lindy 5 mtr dvi dual( some manufactuers dont do dvi1)

    Thanks Keith.

It's just to see if I am using the right DVI cables. I guess I am using DVI-D cables even with my Beocenter 6-23 and the image is OK.

    Keith Saunders:

    Beovision 7-40. Is it DVI-D?       1 x DVI-D Female

For the MKII it is DVI-I, and this is an input only.

For the MKIII it is DVI-D, and this is an output only.

Sorry but DVI-D is not dual it's digital only, and DVI-I is analog and digital.

BV6-22 is the only TV with DVI-D

    BV/BC6-23/26 and BV7 has DVI-I

BV7-40 mkIII has HDMI instead (And DVI-D output like JoC says)

In relation to BS3 and BV4 dvi-d or dvi-1 works it doesnt matter which cable one uses the plugs simply have less pins! Unless my experience is unique!

Maybe the plug is DVI-I, BUT the output signal is only DVI-D (Digital) both cables transfers digital DVI
