    Re: Beo-5 and the LC-2

There seem to be mixed signals from my Beo5, Ed.
    I have one LC2 called lamp2 and two LC1s called lamp1 and lamp9.
I can raise and lower Lamp2 without affecting the others, but if I switch Lamp 2 off, they all go off
I cannot raise or lower the LC1s at all, though I can with Beo4.
When I press Lamp1, it comes on even though I didn't press 'On'
When Lamp1 is on, I can switch it off and on again but if I try to raise it, it raises Lamp 2 instead, then if I press off and on again, all the lamps come on though it still says Lamp 1 on the display.
    Very, very confusing.

    Re: Beo-5 and the LC-2

No Ed, I don't think there is a fault.
Next time you go to your dealer, you could ask him to add some buttons.
At the moment, when you press Lamp2, you only have the option of 'On' or 'Off' and you have been using the hard button to go up and down.
In the Lamp2 screen you could add two buttons called UP and DOWN
On the UP button ask him to add the IR command........
    Light,goto, 2, Step_up.......and on the down button......Light goto, 2, Step_down
As you have 8 LC2s you will have to do the same for all the lamp screens, substituting 5 for 2 etc.
A much easier way would be to set Light pictures for different situations for example Reading, watching DVD, listening to music etc
There is already the option of 9 light pictures which should be plenty for one room.

Andy I have tested this but you must press many times to lightup/down, it would be better if you just press and hold to light Up/down ??

Yes Anders. There is a tab called IR Long but the only thing in it is Stand-by.
I am working on that one.

A little box in the "IR" section of the "edit property" tab in the Beo5 Configuration Tool Software...isn't it?

Some white coat gentlemen are waiting for you both just out there !!  Laughing

    Re: Beo-5 and the LC-2

Can somebody put together a little manual for using/controlling LC2 by Beo5? Maybe something for Keith?

Biggest question: how to adress a number to each lamp.....
