not sure if you can make it out, but i'm taking a picture of myself with the serene, in the mirror! When taking a photo EVERYONE says what IS that? Very awkward camera haha!

Mine is a cow wearing shades. Took me ages to find one in a field.

King Streets avatar is my rather nice Mandolin - lying on the grass at Cambridge folk festival in 2007.
This was bought whilst "in a good mood" ( courtesy of Mr A Guiness of Dublin) from a nice man at the hobgoblin music stand.
Just about worked out Steve Earle's Copperhead Road, after 18 months of plinking......now for those Show of Hands trad ballads.... the poor kids.

Mine's Bibendum, the Michelin Man!! I really like the pose, it suits postings in the forum because he seems to be presenting what I'm saying. Bibendum is the first character developed to sell a product.
When my girlfriend's from France, and is from a region near the Michelin factory. Her father, Pierre, knows someone who works at Michelin and was very excited when he found out I like Bibendum. He is retired and I think he found his next project.
My girlfriend's parents came to visit us here in Australia recently, and Pierre brought with him half a suitcase of Michelin stuff for me!! It seems his new project is collecting Michelin things for me!!!
I'm wrapped, my girlfriend isn't so.....

Tom:
I thought this might be interesting for most of us. I just saw an avatar of which I had no idea what it was showing, and then I remembered some other ones, where I was asking myself: What the hell is that!?
So, please explain us your avatar!
...
I wanted to reactivate this good old topic, as many avatars have changed since the last entry, so has mine.
My avatar shoes me in the museum "Pinakothek der Moderne" in Munich (Septembre 2009). The picture was taken in a room with some green neon-tubes.

Mine changes according to my moods. Usually its paintings or photoshop material.
I try to keep things inconsistent.
