we took this of our old boy max specially for beoworld

it took around 50 attempts to get one in focus as he kept trying to lick/eat the beocom 2

i think it turned out really well in the end as whilst he was drooling for the treat (held out of shot) it almost looks like hes chatting on the phone

when i get a chance ill do a series of max and his b+o favourites

It was your avatar, francoisvl, that gave me the idea for this thread. I still can't figure out, what part of the Beosystem 3500 is shown in your avatar, but now I know at least what it is...

    tom:

I thought this might be interesting for most of us. I just saw an avatar of which I had no idea what it was showing, and then I remembered some other ones, where I was asking myself: What the hell is that!?

So, please explain us your avatar!

I start myself, but I think mine is not to complicated. My avatar shows me from the back during a concert, as I am playing the tuba. The picture was taken during a concert for the 100th anniversary of the city Esch-sur-Alzette where the orchestra I play in comes from.

I think your avatar looks like an alien?! Do you have a bigger picture to show?

this one might be clearer: this is the same concert, (rehersal before the concert), this time I'm on the left side:

if you are interested: this is the orchestra I'm playing with. You can hear some mp3 under "concerts", I think Hommage à l'Irlande, Italie and Grèce

It´s sounds very nice Tom! Do you got the BL5s to listen to your own masterpiece recordings?

Thanks, I'm pleased that you like it. The irish concert was one of the best ones we had. No, I have BL8000s, but I rarely listen to these recordings.

Mine is a cover of a CD with dance-music for Foxtrott and you see a couple dancing.

I choose this nickname and the avatar because I realy love ballroom dancing. I started fifteen years ago and I still like it Big Smile

For thoose who are intrested: my prefered dances are english waltz, waltz, Quick Step and Slow Fox, and I don't like the latin dances at all.

Mine is an Arricam 235 camera.  It's one of the fine new advanced motion picture cameras available from the German manufacturer Arri.  I'm a Director / Producer and equipment like this makes filming alot of fun compared to older equipment.  I was going to say that they are the B&O of the Motion Picture industry but I can just see derailing the thread with the responses "Oh you mean they....(insert deragatory comment here)!"
