Came across this French interior designer Olivier Lempereur and saw one of the interiors that he designed and features a BV5, BC2, BL2, BL5 and BL3s + a lot of other link products. I have to say this is one of the most beautiful integration of B&O products that I have seen...only thing is the placement of the BL5s...I think the lounge is a bit too close Thought I would share my thoughts...

looks to me to have had quite a concentrated theme of straight clean lines until the beolab 5s and beocenter2 were introduced to the room, which is a startling contrast of curves, in my opinion the only stereo and speakers from the last 20ish years that dont suit the original concept of the room, b+o do the clean straight lines better than anyone, it just looks wrong to me, each to thier own, and thankfully were not all the same or wed never experience variety always nice to see b+o in new setting though jay

Alex:
Damn these interior designers! Agree with Jay here, lots of nice lines and then the shapes of the B&O stuff kind of ruins the form in a way... stunning as it is a pair of lab1s or 8000s would have looked so much better. Spot on Tom - way too much going on, maybe losing two sofas would make it into a fantastic room.. not that I would complain if this was mine anyway!!

It is a beautiful room! Like others mentioned above, I don't think I personally would choose to have that much furniture, but maybe the needs of the room demanded it. Maybe it's a hotel lobby or something?
And contrary to opinions above, I don't actually disagree with the design statement of the BeoLab 5s in this room. There are horizontal lines in the Acoustic lenses of the Lab 5s that work well with other horizontal lines in the room, and the form of the Lab 5s is simple enough that they don't argue with the furniture and architecture. There are some round lines in the sofa cushions and the lilies on the coffee table, and I think that gives some credence to using some round lines in the speakers. I do, however, disagree with the placement of the Lab 5s from a sound quality perspective. In this room, crowded as it is, it would be rather hard to get floor speakers to sound good at all. As it is, the speakers are crunched behind the sofas; the sound would be quite hindered. I think several pairs of BeoLab 4000 in series on the walls would have been a much stronger choice.
...my two cents

in my opinion there are several mistakes concerning the speakers positioning... like soundproof said it's a waste of BL5s. there is no space around the bl5s, the room is too crowded and you only can see a tv program when the curtains are closed; another thing is the user positioning, you'll never be in the center of the stage. definitely is not my kind of room.

Dear All:
I will echo others--too much going on. Personally, I am more into mid-twentieth centure furniture, minimalist and comfortable. If you took away some othe pieces, sound and appearance would improve.

But you can choose! Music for the left ear or music for the right ear, depending on which side of the room you choose to sit ... It's a silly arrangement of sofas.

It is, our TV room but still a work in progress which is still needing a decent rug, TV unit and coffee table... we're pretty proud of how well all the B&O matches though!
