i have this beosystem 2500 that works great but the door cables are off. And i cant find a f m antenna that will fit. can i put the cables back on myself or will i have to take it to a repair shop. I think i pretty handy.

I have the same problem with a BS3000, after having a look it looks like a very fiddly job, so I decided to send it off to a service centre to be fixed.

I managed to do it twice, but it takes a lot and I mean a lot of patience to do the job!

Is this something I wil need a breakdown to do?

Sorry but what do you mean by "breakdown". Don't know that word and Google translates this word as "failure" in Dutch?

thanks for leslie for your help.I am going to try to do this this weekend.   can you tell me what the connector is called that goes in the antenna receptacle. mabe i can find a andapter locally.
