    Connecting a sub (BL2) to BM5

    Hi

Today I have a pair of BL3's connected to my BM5/BS5, and I am considering to add a sub (BL2) to my BM5. If I connect the sub to the second PL connector in the BM5 unit, how would the speakers know what frequencies to support? In other words, how does the BL3's knows that there is a BL2 connected that takes care of all lower frequencies?
I guess you normally would connect the BL3 to the PL Out of the BL2, but I can not (easy) do this due to very special placement of the speakers (and cables).

Or am I thinking of the problem that does not exist at all?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

Without looping through the BLB2 they won't know.

    You need to run 2 PL-cables between BM5 and BLB2: "send" + "return" + PL-splitter.

    BM 5 PL out >> PL-cable >> BLB 2 IN >> BLB 2 OUT >> PL-cable towards your existing PL-cables
    >> PL Splitter >> existing cables to the BLB3s

If I have to go thru the BL2, then the cable length from the BL2 to the BL3's will be about 16 meters, will that cause a "delay" in the sound?

The delay will be about 0,000003ms if i have done my math right. In others words, you will experience absolutely no delay Smile
