    Any experience with connecting a BeoMedia 1 to an UPS?

    Hi Folks,

     

    Does anybody have any experience with connection the BeoMedia 1 to an UPS?

    In order to protect the harddrive, and Power supply (has reasently had to buy a pricey new one) I'd like to connetc the BM1 to my UPS (an APC CS-500VA) along with my NAS, but I'd like to herar any experience with this setup prior to doing so.

    Connecting your Beomedia and NAS to a UPS will be fine. When there is a mains power fail, you will still have to shut them down unless the power outage is say less than 30 minutes which will depend on load.

    All my computer equipment is connected to a large 5.5 Kilo-watt UPS
