Tonight my Beo 6 slid off the sofa and fell on to some pyjama bottoms, which were on a carpet(1 foot). The reason it did this is because its shape and texture and are not suited to being left on a chair. It is round shiny and metalic. Unlike our Beo 4 which is not only bomb proof but due to its rubbery keys, it is very hard to knock off.
So for the second time in 4 months the sound wheel does not adjust the volume. It is tough and very resistant to turn. Even when it does work it sometimes has huge lag, and after trying to turn up the volume, it delays and delays until finally it kicks in and goes up to say 90%!!!! I took it to my B&O shop where they had genuinely never heard of such a thing, only for the same thing to happen there and then in the shop. Alarming to say the least.
Does anyone believe that for a television controller which is going to spend most of its time on the side of a chair/sofa, this thing is worth the £700 we spend on it. Its shape and texture are awkward and slippery. Apart form the touch screen with its average quality images, why bother at all?
Very disgruntled that my bomb proof product, can only look upon a 10 year old Beo 4 as it just gets on with the job, no matter whats thrown at it!
