    Motorstand

    Hi all,

on my BV 7-40 it is possible to program different positions for the motorstand (video, audio, standby). Normally the positions for audio and standby will be the same.

I have programmed  different motorstand position for audio and standby (for test purposes). When I choose an audio source from standby (Radio or CD), the BV 7-40 doesn´t turn to the programmed audio position, it remains in standby position. Only if the BV 7-40 is already in (video) use, the motorstand turns to the programed audio position.

Is this issue correct or a software bug?

    Thanks for testing!

    Regards

    Räuber

I have never thought about that so I just tried it with my BV7-55. My stand never moves to the Audio position.

Did you program a different motorstand position for audio in the setup??

So if you have connected an audio source via masterlink to your BV 7-55 and you select Radio or CD, the motorstand should turn to the programmed audio position. My BV 7-40 does so, but only if the TV is switched on before to video.

    Re: Motorstand

I just tried it with my BV 10-40 also. Programmed an audio stand position. Scrolling through the three positions in the steup menu it would turn to each of the three. However, just as with the 7-55, turning an Audio source on does nothing.

    Very crazy!

Please check the following with BV 7 and BV 10:

Press DTV and wait until picture appears and the motorstand are in video position. Then select P.MUTE or AV DTV. The motorstand should turn to the programmed audio position.

No, does nothing. But it is ot an issue for me. I want the TV in standby position when listening to Audio and ut does that fine. Does not matter to me if a dedicated audio position does not work.

    Hi Razlaw,

ok, but thank you very much for your support. Probably your BV´s need a software update to make it work.

I want to ensure that it works properly with my new BV 7-40 3D.

So probably someone else can answer the question in my first post...

Yes, hope so. However, my BV 10-40 was updated last week with the most recent software.

My BV7-40 has the lastest software and the stand never moves in audio-only mode. I rarely listen to the TV in audio-only mode, so it's not a problem for me. But it's definitely a mode that never works.

    Maybe no-one reported it to B&O? :)

Hello all, silly but please try and report. Go back through the menu set up and store all the settings, then pull main power for 45 seconds, plug back in and try.

    Hi moxxey,

on my new BV 7-40 3D the stand moves into a programmed audio position. Only if the TV is off and I press RADIO or CD it doesn´t move. But probably this is intended from B&O.

I assume the latest software is on the new BV 7-40 3D and maybe it´s also available for your BV 7.

Tried what you suggested with my 7-55. It did not work.
