    BEOLINK PC2

    Hi all,

I installed a beolink PC2 between my computer and my BV3 32, wich are in different rooms.

The software installation of Beoport was OK.

Bur now, when i will go to Config, it doesn't work; it begins, the little window appears quickly but doesn't stay.

    What can be wrong ?

    Thanks for you help.

Most common mistakes during installation of a Beoport/PC2 are:

    - erroneously installing BeoPlayer software - you need the BeoPort version

    - connecting all wires and start the installation after

    - it's mandatory to follow this procedure:

    - connect all cables EXEPT the USB between PC and BEOPORT/PC2
    - start installing the BeoPort software
you'll be informed when you have to connect the USB cable

    Re: BEOLINK PC2

    Hi,

    That's what i have done.

All wires were connected  except USB cable.

The installation started and asked me to connect the Usb cable, and then finished normally.

I restarted the computer, but then i had the trouble i described.

I think, i'll try another installation ;i have the Beoport software, but i'll have a look if beoplayer software is still here, and delete it if yes.

    Thanks

    Zazou

    Re: BEOLINK PC2

    Hi,

i uninstalled all Beoplayer and Beoport etc.. i found and started again the installation with the Cd Beolink PC2, and it changed nothing.

when i try to do  Config ,  the windows doesn't stay, so i can't do anything.

i wanted to select all files to play as it does only play one file

    Thanks

    Zazou

    Re: BEOLINK PC2

In many cases SW versions on CDs are outdated.

The most recent version of BeoPlayer is 5.04. (download via B&O homepage)

If your are using Win 7, your dealer can download the BeoPort "service software 6.02"
for you. This version is solving some Win 7 issues and is fully compatible to Vista and XP.
