sky hd to dvi bv7 mk1

    Hi Guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before!  I have searched and not found the answer, If I want to connect my sky hd to my bv7 mk1 how do i do it? I hear that dvi doesn't carry sound( no pun intended!) and how would i then distribute it via masterlink? Cheers Nick

If it's a Mk1 then you first need to check if it's HD upgraded - otherwise the only option you have is scart!

All BV7-32's, right up until the last one to leave the factory, were 720p HD - but the very early ones didn't have the scaler fitted so you could watch things like Sky HD through the DVI.

I have the same setup Nick with an HD-ready MKII. You need a coaxial audio cable to run from SKY HD to Bv7. Assign port A1-A4 in the CONNECTIONS MENU.

For masterlink distribution you have to connect also SCART from SKY HD to Bv7. Easy. Of course on HD on link rooms but ok.

    Hop this helps
