    Re: Not working BeoMaster 6000

    Hi,

My guess is bad quiescent current because of bad trimmers in the amp section...

    The usual!

Is the BeoMaster getting hot before it is switching off? In that case it could indeed be the potentiometers in the amp section!

    Re: Not working BeoMaster 6000

It is an easy fix—I just did mine—provided you know a few basic notions about electronics.

The Beomaster 6000 is easy to open and access to modules is easy as well. You shouldn't have any problems finding the necessary service manual which by the way is available on this site to gold members which I'm now proudly one!

Do you know what a quiescent (idle) current is? Can you identify the different components?

If so, we can help, and you'll find here the right people for the job!

to be honest im not really into fixing electornics by myself , however if i get proper instructions i can do almost everything :p or it might be just better to let somebody else to fix it ?:)
