Hello B&O Worldlings.

I'm the original owner of a Beomaster 2000 with matching Beogram 2000 turntable.  The left channel on the phono input had been going weak and has now gone completely.

Where and what should I look for? 

The L channel works fine with the radio and Aux inputs.

Beocenter 2000 has a built-in turntable and it does not match any of the Beogram 2000 models designwise
so I believe that is not what you are talking about.

Is it a Beosystem 2000 you have (Beomaster 2000 + Beocord 2000 etc.) ?

Yes, Martin.  You are quite correct, I have mis-labeled my Beomaster 2000 as a Beocenter 2000.  Not a very good start is it?

Thinking that the DIN cord could have failed?

Thanks for the response, it was the cartridge.

I was able to locate my decent MMC3 and we are back in business.

I have quite a collection of failed cartridges now.
