    AUX button on beo5

    Dear forum members,

I own a beosound 3000. With it aux function I can channel a beogram and apple tv.

With the beo4 this function is approached with the ATAPE button.

However I cannot figure out how top programm this with the confyg. tool on the BEO5.

    Do you have any suggestions?

Do you have it set in "Default" or "Custom" mode?

Custom mode is done by your dealer.

Default mode is loaded on each Beo5 giving you rudamentary control over your TV, DVD, RADIO & CD nothing else. A.TAPE was renamed to A.MEM but function remained the same.

You'll need to see your dealer and get him programe in the buttons. It's amazing how much you can do with that remote.

    Oakley out.

Mmm strange... I programmed my Beo5 to access the Aux on my Ouverture through A.Aux...

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

As the Ouverture has an integrated tape deck, you can't assign the A.TAPE to anything else. The BeoSound3000 doesn't have a cassette deck, so the A.TAPE command can be used for A.AUX.

The Beo5/6 configurations are very flexible and you can even rename the icon that appears on the screen. This means that you can really personalise how yor remote control looks and operates.

when you're in config tool, do you just look up the command and double click it? sounds like that is the case. You have to ADD it which will appear in the upper section of the IR window where you select the commands. Here's a snapshot of what I mean...
