Have anyone tryed the BEO4 replacement remote control from ebay.de?

Do anyone know if there are other replacement remote controls for BEO4, or maybee a arduino based open source version?

I have a beovision 3-32 this was sold with BEO4 and i am not sure i can use beolink 1000 ? So i search for replacement ;)

Beo4 and Beolink1000 are using the same IR-codes, so you can use a Beolink1000 with the BV3-32.... it will work (I am using Beolink1000 and Beo4 to control my BV 3-32).

For some of the commands you will need to use the "SHIFT" key of the BL1000, but this is no problem (for example "SHIFT"+"CD" for "DVD"). Here is a link: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/38151.aspx

I've never seen/used the remonte in the link but it seems to be a rather cheap piece of plastic... so it is better to stick with your Beolink1000.
In case you realy want a Beo4 then I would suggest to try to find one via Beoworld (sales/wanted) section as you can get them for a fair price on the second hand market.

Yes, the IR-commands are the same - but you'll have to "translate" buttons and virtual list buttons:

thanks for info, i did not know that beolink 1000 can be used. Maybee my my mother in law can help me with that, she worked on Bang and olufsen in Struer ealier, and she say she know some one from b&o that might have some spare beolink 1000 remoites :)

thanks, this will not be a problem, so i think i will got find a beolink 1000 instead of the cheap german remote in the link ;)
