    Removing Beovision 1 from stand

I will be picking up a Beovision 1 on monday and it comes on a video stand. For transportation I would like to take it off the stand and was wondering if somebody could tell me how this is done and what screwdrivers etc I need to do this.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello there, FYI,

Beovision 1 sits on the video stand on a small pole that is screwed to the video stand.

You need to allign the rear of the set so that it is facing straight, and the small hole on the rear of the pole is alligned with the hole on the rear of the set. (At the rear of the tv and at the base were the tv set goes to a point).

The set is attached via a small allen key fitment screw, simple loosen the screw and the set will become loose, then simply lift the set off (this could take two people!!).

Hope this helps and isnt too confusing!!

Thanks for the help. I would have looked silly with my screwdrivers then. I will take some allen keys with me.

Another thing to remember, when resting it down, do it on the back. On it's front, its own weight could break the glass contrast screen.
I am not 100% certain but the Stand grub  is either a 3.5 or 4mm hex and the floor plate is something like an 6 to 8mm hex bolt.
...and finally, dont forget to ask about the PIN number.
