    Display Speaker 4500?

Me again - now that I was offer a hand that quick with the remote - there's actually another question I have. I've got a used pair of the 4500's which I have running off the Overture. When I bought them I saw the display working. Connected to the Overture the Display of both doesn't work.

Might there be something I need to do "programm" as well into the remote?

    thx again in advance

It has nothing to do with your Beo 4

Are these the same cables that have previously been used with BeoLab 4500?

There is a switch where you can switch between audio & vidio. try to see if it stands on Audio.

What source were they connected to when you saw the displays working?  Could be the displays only work with compatible sources such as BS 6500 or BC 9500.

They should work fine with an Ouverture.

On the side of the amps, at the display end, you will find a 3 position switch. Make sure that it is in AUDIO mode.

On the back of the amps, make sure that  either L or R is selected on the mode switch.

You will need Mk2, sometimes called fully wired powerlink cables or the displays will not work.

    Re: Display Speaker 4500?

Thx a lot too - looks like this will be the reason - in this case I wont be able to get the display working as the cable set is kind of build into the appartement and hidden behind the walls......

Thanks guys for your help and quick responses!!
