    Missing N Radio Stations

Just noticed that some of my N Radio stations have disappeared from my Beosound 5. Including Radio 1 here in the UK. Has anyone had the same issue?

Yes, if a station is to often "not available" (tech problems or simply to many listeners)
it is taken (temporarily) of the "list".

Happened to me several times - beeing a listener of ABC-Classical - it was gone, reappeared on the "list" , disappeared ...

I wonder if it was because it was the Glastonbury festival here in the UK over the weekend. Radio 1 was covering this live. This may explain it!!

    Re: Missing N Radio Stations

As far as I know, the list of selected stations is updated regularely, but not on a daily or even weekly schedule.

Last time it took approx a month till my favorite ABC-Classical was back on the list - you'll have to be patient ...

    Dear andyt1979,

I just wondered if you managed to resolve this, I listen to Radio 1 frequently and last weekend it just disapeared from the list. Have tried powering down and removing the mains plug for a while and also a recovery from the service menu with no luck and my dealer does not know how to resolve this

    Many thanks

Hi there. Yes it's back. Apparently B&O have a central server for N Radio stations which has a master list. Sometimes B&O drop stations if there stream drops below a certain standard.

    That's the way it works.

Yes, they monitor all stations over a period, and if the down time is too high, the station is removed. When the station is stable again, it goes back to the list automatic.

I just had the case with 2 stations, one of them is back again, I wrote a mail to the other station that their net station is very unstable.

    There is something about B&O.....

    Thanks Guys

Really appreciate the responses, its weird it seems that its only my BS5 thats missing BBC Radio 1 so it cannot be that B&O have removed this from their central server list

Any other suggestions to get it back?

    Steve
