Viewing hours on MX 6000 with Beo4-remote

As I am still trying to sell my MX6000 to clear some space I have it for sale now for 500 SEK

One of the questions that I have received is ''how many hours has it been on''

I searched the forum and found some tips and tricks, but none did work unfortunately.

So: how can I check the viewing hours on my MX6000-Beo4 , I have Beo4 remote available.

Thanks for he help in advance

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any such counters.

What about an MX4000..? Are there no service counters on those either..?

Why not? My LX 5500 has it, and it's basically the same TV.

Well I have an MX6000IT-Beo4 (Mk.I) myself, and the menu-0-0-go page only shows the software version (3.10).

The first page of the service mode (menu-1-1-go) shows the last error code, the serial number of the set, and an 8-digit code that doesn't advance (the service manual says it should be the 4 digit type code, but that doesn't match on mine).

Also, went to try the LX6000 I have in storage. Menu-0-0-go again only shows the software version (1.0). This one doesn't allow entering the service menu by the remote (shows the channel list instead).

The earlier models are on a slightly different chassis, so apparently the service counters were dropped inbetween for whatever reason.

If you told them the truth you could only put buyers off. You will be better saying "I honestly don't know".

At £50 or thereabouts and still working, what is to worry about?????

    Hi Graham and others,

Thanks for the feedback. I am with you -Graham- as I do not understand either why such specific info is requested for just a 50 euro / 500 SEK tv.

It turns out to be quite difficult to sell, so I now chosen to sell the TVcheap and to keep the remote (Beo4).

If it will not sell this time (on blocket, local eBay franchise) I will keep the tv for WII etc. But at this point the TV is a 42kg 'stand in the way'. (is that how to say it? or is it as bad as 'I thank you of the bottom of my heart and also my wife's bottom')   Laughing

    Daniel:

...and the same thread also gives another data point saying that it does not work on a MX7000 (which is the same Unity 2 chassis as MX/LX 6000/4000). Your 5500's are Unity 1.

And I also would tell buyers who need to know stuff like that from a 10+ years old 50€ television to sod off Big Smile

    OK!

I had to check the hours again, 23 790. Almost 1 000 days.
