Onkyo 708NR to Beovox Cona with MCl2P

I am trying to connect a Onkyo receiver to Beovox Cona

Currently I have the front left and right out from receiver pass through the Cona to the front (RL 6000 ) speakers). I am not sure with this setup if I am losing on any sound quality or performance. The receiver has the subwoofer out and needs an active subwoofer which Cona is NOT.

I am hoping - if it makes any improvement in performance to put to use a MCL2P unit to power the cona separately.

    Questions:

    1.   Will adding MCL2P makes anything better in my setup and what cables would I need to fireup the MCL2P from the Onkyo

Re: Onkyo 708NR to Beovox Cona with MCl2P

I think it will be worse - the MCL2P is only 30W. The Cona only goes down to 40Hz anyway - the RL6000s goes down to 42Hz.
