Update SW BeoVision 7-40 with new BeoLab 6002 speakers?

    Hi All,

I switched our BeoLab 6000 speakers and bought the new 6002 versions.

In the user menu settings of our BV 7-40 I can’t select the 6002 BeoLab, only the old ones. Is this correct? Or need our BV 7-40 a software update to control the 6002 speakers correctly?

    Thanks in advance.

    Bas

The 6000 setting will be absolutely fine - there is no performance difference. No doubt a future upgrade will change the menus so that the 6002 can be selected but I doubt there will be any material change.

    Peter :

So the fact that the 6002 Series has a different amplifier (and more power) as the 6000 series, will therefore make no difference in controlling them?

    Kind regards,

    Bas
