    Lee,

FYI as you like this kind of stuff - the "big" Attyca. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bang-and-olufsen-attyca-hifi-table-/180632728620?pt=UK_Home_Garden_LivingRoom_TV_Furniture&hash=item2a0e8cb42c#ht_500wt_1127

It looks like a base plate is missing though.

Why doesn't anyone like the original BeoVox 5000s? Those look like MK1s which are the best of the three if I remember correctly...?

My big Attyca 2 has two baseplates............. Big Smile

Guess a lot of them got lost 'somewhere'!

Mind you mine (I think) is one of the cheaper to make Mark 2's so maybe they had the 2nd baseplate?

Anyone else got one to compare and contrast?

Yes I had a good laugh, don't worry.

But seriously - This is something I've always wondered... Why isn't there any interest left in those speakers? I know they are mammoth-huge, but I would love to have a pair... and every now and then I see things like this and where people are even scrapping or giving them away!

They look like they could really move some air! Cool

I think with the BV5000's its just the size of them, although the BV3000's aren't that much smaller!

Thinking of keep the BV5000's in case I ever get a BL5000 system........

Well you can live in hope I guess! lol

    Re: Subheading..

I'm sure my Beomaster 3000 or a Beomaster 4000 could push a pair of 5000s pretty well. Size has never really put me off!
