    Beovision 3 Motorised Base unit

I would like to know if the Motorised Base that is available somewhere will fit either the version 3-32 or 3-28.

And if so what is the likely TYPE no as I have seen two options.

     Regards

    David

    David,

You can purchase a motorised base Type # 4067 for a BeoVision 3-32 which have Type numbers of 881X

There is also a motorised stand type number 4066

    Whats the difference between 4066 & 4067?

I thought you could only use a motorised stand on sets from type numbers 881* and not with sets from type 880*

Yes, I kown my spelling is horrible… Huh?

    David,

The manual says clearly that the Type # 4067 motorised stand is for use with Beovision 3 type numbers 881X ONLY, so yours apparently cannot use it.

I have a drawing of the two stand types of base and they are certainly different, why you need two different motorised bases I am not sure. The only point I will make is that the 4067 is called a motorised stand and the 4066 is called a motorised base

    Regards Keith....

One of them motorises the TV, the other, the 3 drawer cabinet.  Obviously if the cabinet is motorised, it will work with either 28" or 32" regardless of type number (all you have to do is choose the correct rear cable cover for the cabinet).  However as Keith quite rightly says, the use of the motorised base for TV movement only, is limited by type number.

Re: Beovision 3 Motorised Base unit

    Keith.

Thanks for this info, I am sorry if I have somewhat confused you. I am looking to get only 1 Motorised Base for my Type 8803 and from what you are saying the type appears to be the 4066.

Is my understanding OK so far and I would be interested to see both of the drawings if you would be good enough to email them to me at dsc8w@wilson.org

    Regards David

Re: Beovision 3 Motorised Base unit

Sorry I didn't see your response. My Beovision 3 does NOT have the 3 drawer cabinet as part of the base unit, so am I right in now assuming that the Type 4067 will work OK

But the 4067 (BASE!!!) will only work from type numbers 881* on, and not with type numbers 880*. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Why is this?

Yes, I kown my spelling is horrible… Huh?

Re: Beovision 3 Motorised Base unit

Hello to One and All on this subject.

I have just had a phone call from Denmark via Winnersh, and they have confirmed that the Motorised Base Model 4067 will only work with Beovison 3 types 881* and NOT 880*.

My thanks to all of you who helped me out on this matter.

    David
