linking a beocenter 9300 and a beovision 7-32
Hello everybody,
I am trying to link my beovision 7-32 to my beocenter 9300 (in the same room) so that I can have the sound of the BV7 (which is linked to my computer, where most of my music is) on the BC 9300 boxes. Getting the sound of the BC9300 on the 7.1 of my BV7 would be nice, but just that.
I researched the forum for a solution, and the closest thing to an answer that I couldunderstood was:
AVANT Mastelink -> Converter -> AUX-Link BC auf AUX/TV
Both in Option 1
Of course this is for a BV avant, thus I am not sure it even applies to me.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Be seing you,
François

Hi,
Which speakers have you got? Which remote are you using?

I think this is correct,
9300 - AUX Out - 1611 Convertor - ML Cable - BV32
And then set the various options, etc.
Train Hard - Run Fast - Hit to Kill!!!

Try downloading the configuration guide to confirm the setup

Hello
speakers: currently infinity, possibly soon beovox 3000, 4500 or 5000, or even beolabs, again 3000 etc. but this is less probable. I use a Be04.

Ok, as you are using passive speakers, this setup is correct.

Hello Stotty,
are you reffering to the user manual, the reference/service manual or a third type of document? I have user manuals and a service manual for the BV7 (Mk1), and I am working slowly, very slowly, through them.
Be seing you

No, it is a piece of software you can download from this site, but only if you are a paid member.
You tell it what you have and it tells you how to connect and configure it.
You setup is fine however.

Re: linking a beocenter 9300 and a beovision 7-32
Hello Philip,
many thanks for your quick answer. I suppose that if I have one day active ones, I will need a dedoubler on one of the powerlink, but otherwise I will still need the beolink (Type1611, I learned recently).
If you have any question about wine, do not hesitate to ask me

Re: linking a beocenter 9300 and a beovision 7-32
I must say that this website in general, but the fora members especially, have been extremly helpful in the recent days. I will probably join it as a paying member soon. One thing that held me back is that it does not state in detail what is in the payer-only section, and this slows me instinctively.
Be seing you

Re: linking a beocenter 9300 and a beovision 7-32
Yes, they should state more clearly what is avaiable in the download section.
Anyway, if you have some active speakers, you should connect all of the to the TV instead and set the TV in option 2 and the beocenter to option 0.
You'll gain surround sound and an easier way to switch between different speaker configuration.
You'll need to connect a powerlink cable from the Beocenter to the converter as well. But no need to split as there are no speakers any longer connected directly to it.
