    Masterlink hi-fi

    Hi all, 

    I have an overture. I know after this all of the beosounds came with masterlink, Was there anything before the overture?  I love the shelf type hifi's 8000,8500 etc

    Beocenter 2300/2500. But as in another post, Beosystem 7000 is one of the best along with the 4500

    The 7000 does not have Masterlink.

    But easily connected and fully intergraded with the masterlink converter!!!!!!!

    Hi Nicky,

    I believe the BS4000/Overture was the first with Masterlink.  The 8000/8500/9300/9500, 4500, or 6500/7000 systems do not have masterlink, but can be be connected to a BeoLink Converter, which essentially gives it Masterlink.  If you like the shelf type systems, just get a Beolink converter to use with it, and you should be good to go!     BeoCenter 8000 is an exception, this "cheapest" version did not have any LINK compatibility. And BeoCenter 2300 / 2300 can also be connected to a Masterlink system using a converter.
