Blu Ray for Bang & Olufsen?

Is the BeoVision 7 currently the only B&O product that can play Blu-Ray discs?  Does anyone know if they'll be updating the BeoCentre2 for Blu-Ray support or coming out with something new?

    Curious.

A B&O standalone Blu-ray player would be awesome. I'm using a PlayStation 3 configured with Beo4 remote control, which is nicely integrated all-and-all, but nothing would beat having B&O for the whole disc-to-display chain. Plus, the PS3 fan gets very noisy at times. Wink Maybe the upcoming year would roll out a BeoCenter 3?

It don't think it would be that cool. It would be a £150 player, made it China in a lumpy B&O box (judging by my DVD1) and it'll sell at £1500 which some B&O fans will say is perfectly OK as it's 'entry level'   Who are they fooling!  Stick to their lovely televisions and then buy a Sony or Pioneer Blu ray player which can be easily changed as the technology is changing so fast!

+1, as long as it has some sort of design aesthetic

To the previous poster about the PS3 being noisy.  I found that the PS3 "Phat" lol was noisy; however, the PS3 slim is not (i have both).  Maybe if you are able to, upgrade your PS3.

    Cheers
