Is it possible to set options with Beolink 5000?

Is it possible to set/change the options for ie the BS9000 with the Beolink 5000 remote?

if BL 5000 is in ONE WAY MODE - yes!

    e.g. "SOUND" "1" "STORE" >>  A.Opt 1

(same sequence as for a BL1000)

Yes - it's so obvious that I had to read the manual to find it Laughing

PANEL -> SETUP -> SYSTEM -> OPTIONS, then just key in what you'd expect. There's no feedback from the BL7000 so it appears to not work, but you'll see the other kit respond just as it would with a BL1000.

Smile to the best of my remembrance ...

panel > setup > system > components  > select either "Audio" or " Video" >  and
the display of the BL7000 will tell you something like
"face your audio(video)master , list your sources and store"

This should set the remote to "one way" or "two way" mode.

    then "go-back"

    > options  >  numbers will be displayed >  ...

Thank you both, works! (Master has to be in stand-by as usual...)

I had set the option before through a BL1000 but was curious about the BL7000' ability to do this.

Stepping through all the options I already found the Panel setup but that looked like the audio master's 1 / 2-way setting by learning from the master. 2-way was working already but option 0 / 1 / 2 had to be set.

Option setting works here even in 2-way mode.

Being hardware / software engineer & not finding this makes me a bit embarrassed Embarrassed

    Best regards,

      Gunther
