I've just bought two CD 50's. One fully functional -and the other one in parts. I was told that the seller's father had given up on it -there was a new belt for the CD drawer which I -offcourse - will mount before assembly...
Here you see it as it was when i brought it home. Seems like everything is there -except some screws and washers...

-new belt -and the CD-drawer in place...Ready to put in the plugs and mount the motor/laser module:

-then the motor/laser unit, ready for mounting:

-and finally assembled Big Smile A CD in the drawer -and ready to play:

    And it works Beer Drinks

Wont matter, as Peter likes to say "No two were built the same" of the 6 I own only 2 are of the exact same architecture. the other 4 had all been slightly given different mods from one another

Probably done in the factory at different times during the production life of the player.

I really like the sound they produce. A good working CD50 Is worth having in any collection. But that is just my own opinion.

Bought a beautifull B&O cabinet for demo use of the Serene.

It's a great looking cabinet with a heavy glass top on it and aluminium parts below.

    Inside is a motorized base.

Now finally I can store my Serene and other beauties! Cool
