    anyone with/seen a table top 7-40?

I am stumped and would appreciate experienced views or opinions.

Has anyone done or seen a BV7-40 resting on little feet?

Does the need for a BL 7.x speaker mean that you must have a 20 cm table top stand?

If some one has placed a BV7-40 on little feet was the DVD/BR player easy to operate?

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

I have only seen Bv7's sittting on the table top stand. You could use a service stand but that would look rubbish.

The 7-32 & 7-40 Not sure about the 7-55 have a service stand/tool,which is a long square piece of metal maybe 1" wide by 1" high by 10" long that have a long 5 inch spike sticking up in the middle of each one.

When the Beovisions are taken off there normal stands for servicing/repair,there is two holes under the tv,which two of these service tools push in too,so you can stand the tv up on a bench to work on.If you are looking at the front of the set, each stand would maybe 10" along the underside of the set one on the left and one on the right!

Hope this gives you an idea Elephant!

As stands they do look rubbish..

Yes ... that sounds awful as if the TV had sprouted two elephant feet Laughing

If I had photoshop I might .... but use your imagination instead

Made a stand myself , used the service holes in the 7-40 . Service stands are ugly and very unstable so made my a pair from steel and aluminium .

that is very innovative Richard !

I see you have the BeoLab tucked into the bookcase as well ... very neat

Thank you also for the sketches ... inspiring, but I know my hamfisted limitations

Any chance of a better pic of the TV? The stand looks really interesting to me.

I love the BV7 but could get one because of the stand options.
