Just a couple of questions...
Hello Guys (and maybe girls),
Couple of quick queries.....
1. How do I add 'phono' to my Beo4. I've been into 'add' and scrolled through quite a long list of possibilities - but 'Phono' doesnt appear. My earlier Mk.1 beo4 had phono in it's list, but not this newer one....?
2. How do I pull up the Service Menu on a BV5 and on an Avant, and on a MX4000. When i say service menu, I'm wanting to look at the statistics of how many times set has been turned on/off, how many hours its been in use etc...?
Cheers guys..
Michael

Re: Just a couple of questions...
joeyboygolf:
It doesn't appear in some s/w issues. Try N RADIO, it's the same command!
Thanks for your suggestion Graham, but I dont seem to have N.Radio, I have N.Music option - tried that & that switched on Tape2 rather than phono....
Any more ideas..?
And can anyone help with the Service Menu on my tv's...? (as in hours many hours use they've had etc..)
Cheers
Michael

Thanks for your try, but....
Nope, that doesnt work either.........that bring up timer settings....
Anybody else got any ideas on either issue.? 1) Phono adding on Beo4 2) Bring up the service menu on bv5, Avant & mx4000...?
Cheers,
Michael

Re: Just a couple of questions...
Service menu: Start with the set off. press in the following order:
TV
MENU
scroll down to SET UP
GO
then press 0 0 GO quickly. You will be in the service menu. ( DON'T PLAY WITH THE SETTINGS! )
On the Beo4, you need to add N.Radio to your LIST. Which Beo4 do you have? Normally, you just press stand by and LIST at the same time. Scroll to ADD? and press GO. Press LIST to scroll through the choices. The relatively old version I have gives me the choice of both PHONO and N.Radio, which as Graham quite rightly says is the same actual command.

Re: Just a couple of questions...
Ohh thanks guys - i got it now.
Yes N.Radio works the phono now.
And I've got into the service menu on my BV5, I will try the same thing on my other two sets, just out of interest.
Many thanks to you guys.
Michael

Re: Just a couple of questions...
Having now thought about it I had the same problem some time ago with one of my setups, didn't get resolved, but may be a software problem however reverting back to a bl1000 solved it ie shift radio - maybe if you have shift listed then that might work with radio to bring up phono give it a whizz
