Fantastic!
Now show off and do some trumpet stands
If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.

Brilliant - great attention to detail with the angle & adjuster

Love these!
Is the top end (the attachment to the horizontal bar) different in 45 stands and the bigger ones, or is that small horizontal "step" your own idea? In any case, I like these more!

Somewhere on the forum there is some drawings with measurements, but without the "nose", on Ebay I saw a pic of presumed S 45 stands with a (smaller) "nose". As I'm waiting (and bored) for a pair of S45s I started to think about it, Speaker footprint is 265 Mm wide, 200 Mm deep, size of foot found on forum is 265 x 255, if I put the crossbar directly on the upright, the S45 will hang about 50 Mm behind the front of the stand, and thats bad design, the nose is with crossbar 30 Mm, this distance computed with the newest cientific knowledge (one eye closed and my thump) this will bring the bottom edge of the speaker to the front of the stand when pointed a little upward. My stand has the footprint 265 x 250 Mm, So if you make your own stand, wide= speaker wide, deep= speaker deep + 20 Mm and crossbar directly on upright, or "nose" and deep= speaker + 20 +nose. If the speaker weights more than 12 Kg I recommend 3/4" x 1.1/4" 18 gauge steel. I have welded the upright to the foot, it should be attached by a M6 screw, but its difficault to make without a lot of work.
Homedepot has felt or plastic pads to glue under the stands.
The brass bushers: Hole on crossbar is 10 Mm crossbar 5 Mm thick, busher is 8 x 7 Mm where it through hole attach to speaker and 15 D x 9 with sinkhole for M5 Allen screw behind crossbar. this should give enough play for inclination ajustment. Ajustment screw is M5 allen, head pressed into brass, I did these brass details just because I could.

Now that you mention it... can't understand why B&O didn't think of it!
Might be difficult to thread it with a connector attached, but even that could work with just a slot in the bottom of the vertical bar and another beside a removable top cap...

Re: S 45 Speakerstand, DIY
The stands came in many different versions. Some are completely welded and handles as one piece, others have a screw from below that holds the square frame to the vertical part and can be taken apart for easy storing or shipping. Some are welded closed at the top of the vertical part, others have a plastic top inserted. Finally, the height is different from the first series of Uniphase speakers to the second and again from S45 to S80 etc. The stands for Beovox M70/75/100 are black and have a larger square.
And, apart from a few of the black ones, they have no markings. It's a jungle, really.

Re: S 45 Speakerstand, DIY
The stands for my s80.2's have small plastic feet on the bottom, I don't know if these are found on all of the different stands. One of them is missing from my stands, and I would like find a suitable replacement. Does anyone know were such a part could be found?
If I can't find a similar part, I could easily just make one from some plastic rod.

Check in Home Depot, they have glue on pads in different sizes and materials.
