    need help : Beocenter 9500

I had a Beocenter 9000 few years ago and I decided to sell it and replace it with a Beocenter 9500. I had a chance to buy a Beocenter 9500 in I would say good cosmetical condition but the problem is that all the CD mechanism it was given to me in a box!It seems that someone tried to repair it.

Now my question is : is there any chance to reassemble back the mechanism and also to repair the CD?

Any help will be highly appreciated!!

I'm afraid the prognosis isn't too good, because

    • if the repairguy knew what he was doing, he probably would've repaired the CD and not put it in a box!
    • if he didn't know what he was doing, he might have fiddled with the settings and actually killed the laser.

So, expect the worst and adjust your top price accordingly...

When I bought my Beocenter 8000, the CD (of course) didn't work, and the seller said (of course) that nobody had attempted to repair it. When I delved in there, I found that some capacitors had actually been replaced but never soldered in place(!) and of course the laser was dead... I got lucky and found a complete spare part module on fleaBay six months later.

    thanks for your reply.......

First, I have to assemble dthe mechanism but I do not have any ideea how to assemble the parts.

After that I.ll replace the 33 nf capacitor with a new one. It looks defective so I hope that is the problem.

I.ll post the pictures with  the parts later today. I hope someone could help me with that.

    thanks

Oh dear... I expected disassembled, not blown apart!

Can't make out if that part is broken or not, but if it is, you probably can't get it separately anywhere as the entire CD mech has been discontinued for a long time now. Probably easiest to start looking for a donor unit...

thanks mika for your answer! . I tried to figure out how to install the motor but it seems that is not working very well.  I think  also that because the broken plastic part the original owner sent the unit to be repaired to a technician.

I was wandering if anyone could help me with the mechanical part and the motor? I really want to fix it.

    thanks in advance
