Beoworld iPhone Application
Just to let you know that I have made some good progress tonight and that I have now a working prototype. It is still far from a final app, but is showing that all the basic functions (authenticating, browsing, posting and replying) are feasible.

Maybe it's easy if the server software is supported, but ours (Telligent Community Server) is not.

Jailbroken?!?! How did you manage?
As far as I read, there were too many complains from 3G users on how slow the phone became after the new software!
And frankly spoken, I did try it myself and it was a failure for me!

BenSA:
I'm going to really stick my neck out here and ask if it will be Symbian and Android compatible?
What's Symbian? And who's Android?
iPhone compatible Beoworld... Me like it.

my youngest son is now happier with the performance once he did the upgrade that contained the performance fix for what had at first been a downgrade !
First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

Re: Beoworld iPhone Application
Yes, I finished the App yesterday and have tried to get in touch with Lee.
I am not sure I have the correct email as messages I have sent before remained unanswered, and I do not think that is Lee's style.
Lee if you read this, please get in touch.
Philippe

Great news, looking forward to see it. May I suggest you to take a dollar or two for it, to cover expenses etc. I like to support BeoWorld.

Re: Beoworld iPhone Application
Philippe,
Your app looks very good indeed, well done.
Lee, forwarded your e-mail to me last night for comment and I was very impressed based on the screen shots.
I look forward to reviewing it in detail..

Re: Beoworld iPhone Application
It takes some time for Apple to approve each App before they put it on the store. Will be with you soon.
