    Beoworld iPhone Application

Just to let you know that I have made some good progress tonight and that I have now a working prototype.

It is still far from a final app, but is showing that all the basic functions (authenticating, browsing, posting and replying) are feasible.

Maybe it's easy if the server software is supported, but ours (Telligent Community Server) is not.

    Re: Beoworld iPhone Application

BTW Phil, please do make sure that it does work with 3.1.3 as the "poor" us ones with iPhone 3G consider this the best Os for our phones. Tried already OS 4.0 and it really slowed my phone too much. Plus of course the disadvantage of non JB.

Jailbroken?!?! How did you manage? As far as I read, there were too many complains from 3G users on how slow the phone became after the new software! And frankly spoken, I did try it myself and it was a failure for me!

Nope! Going to Paris this week end to visit the Takashi Murakami exhibition in the Chateau de Versailles.

You'll have to wait a bit more, but patience will be rewarded. App looks really good!

my youngest son is now happier with the performance once he did the upgrade that contained the performance fix for what had at first been a downgrade !

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Re: Beoworld iPhone Application

Maybe. But frankly spoken, my 3G with 3.1.3 jailbroken works really perfectly and speedy, so I see no reason why should I update on the current one, that there is also no jailbreak!!! I mean after all, an iPhone is really worth if jailbroken. Too many apps to use from Cydia :) And to keep this post current, Phil I hope you had a nice time in Paris, came back relaxed and now working on the app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Best regards

Yes, I finished the App yesterday and have tried to get in touch with Lee.

I am not sure I have the correct email as messages I have sent before remained unanswered, and I do not think that is Lee's style.

Lee if you read this, please get in touch.

It takes some time for Apple to approve each App before they put it on the store. Will be with you soon.
