Compatible in what way? It will still use the same I.R. codes.

    ?? Type 1617 ??

    "Standard" - Type 162x  (1995 - 2010)

    "Navigation button" - Type 1710 (2010 - ??)   *)

Special version "Cinema" - Type 1626

    Special version "DTV+V.AUX button" - Order# 8053529 (2009 - ??)

*) if set to "Mode 2" type 1710 will work like Beo4 type 162x

Don't believe that there will be an update for any of the older TV's !

They made it the opposite way around - in "Setup Mode 2" the "Nav. Button" is
disabled to be backward compatible ...

If you don't use analog "TV" anymore the "DTV" / "V.Aux" / "V.Mem" Beo4  remote
might be an even better alternative for the "digital age"

Price should be the same as for a standard Beo4.

    Picture shows Beo4 "Digital Age" - DTV / V.Aux / V.Mem (B&O Order Number 8053529)
