    It´s a sin - I know, but....

I wonder if anyone knows if it is difficult to shorten the pole of a high floor stand for Beovision 1?

I know it is a shame, but I need it to be 10 cm shorter to fit my place.

Anybody have a pic of the end of the pole thats goes into the BV?

Not sure it looks that easy! I have put the fitting manual for the high stand on site in the BV1 service manual area.

It's been done plenty of times - i can't remember the last BV1/BC1 High Stand i had in stock that was the original height!

Lift up the aluminium disc trim and you'll see the pole is clamped in.  Undo the allen bolt, free the pole, then take it to a metalworking engineers shop who'll precision cut it to your desired height - bingo!

    Did this years ago!

    As far as I remember:

    - you unscrew / dissasemble and open the clamp mounted to the baseplate

    - shorten the tube on the BOTTOM end!

!! On the top end you will cut away the cable entry and the bushing/insert for "plugging in" the BV/BC1 !!

!! Don't forget to protect the aluminium tube during clamping in the vice !!
