hi ,
Has anyone had any sound quality issues with the new BeoCom5 hands free speaker phones? I bought 2 (one speaker/handsfree and one handsfree)and i think the sound is appalling on both units. When I asked the dealer, he said that B&O were aware of the issue and are working on a software solution at the moment and that it is an issue with a lot of the new BC5's.
Overall, im very disappointed in this product from B&O. Given their cost, and the speel on the B&O website, I was expecting great things - clarity, good volume......
""""With BeoCom5, we have created a cordless phone that captures every nuance of your conversation - delivering a sound so real, it’s the next best thing to being there. Based on the same acoustic competences we apply in our Bang & Olufsen loudspeakers, we designed a speaker phone that lets you truly listen"""""
I foolishly dumped out my old battered non-brand ones and replaced them with this set-up and now when I call anyone, the sound is fading in and out on the speaker/hands-free unit. Even if I lift the phone and use to my ear, the sound is pretty poor.
I would be interested in other peoples experiences.
