Here's the latest photo of my new BeoVision 7-55 MKII with the cables hidden slightly better. I have a Mac Mini mounted on an STB bracket behind the TV. Notice the wireless keyboard & trackpad on the coffee table. It's like having a 55 inch iMac with a killer sound system! Big Smile

    Re: Flash your B&O!

Got my Beolab 5000/Beomaster 5000 combo completed and hooked up today.

After several months a very capable technician and forum member completed refurbishing the system.

    I am very happy!

    Ralf

PS: Excuse the cable mess, those are hidden by now. Had to test the Beovox S45.2 on stands (great speaker!) vs. the old Beovox 4703 (that still need a lot of attention).

    My Beo: Beosound 3000, Beolab 4000, Beo 4 DVD,  Beolab 5000/Beomaster 5000, Beovox S45.2 with Stands, Beosystem 7000 black with Beolink 7000, Beolink 1000, F1000 (3 cubes), Beovox 5000, Beovox 3000, Attyca 1.

    Re: Flash your B&O!

    Thank you guys.

No plans for the cubes - had these before, but my small home office just does not do them justice. The Beovox 5000 / Cubes setup (and a center speaker of course!) is something for the living room. Unfortunately not all of the family agree with this. In fact, I am the only one Sad

Got an Artemide Tizio 50 Lamp (designed in the early 70s) on the desk as well, wanted to have on for ages, but forgot about it, now just bought it.

I just bought a Beomaster 4000 + Beogram 4002 ... NO idea where to put them, but they looked so nice. Might just keep the Beogram to go with the Beolab 5000 system. Or put the Beomaster in the last resort in the house - the storeroom in the cellar where I keep a pair of white Beovox RL2000 without any amp...

(Need to see the doc tomorrow, the beovirus is getting worse...)

    Enjoy your setups!

    Ralf

My Beovirus just keeps on getting worse, too!

I stumbled over a pair of RL6000's with original reciepts dating from 1996 for very cheap. Good foam sorrounds (hell, this is the newest B&O i ever have owned, all of it dating to years before my birth in 1993) and fine sound, just to hang on the walls of my bedroom.

I also have done something terrible... Bough a Denon deck for 3£! Three heads dual capstan machine, but not as good as my Beocord 9000 Wink

Pics will come after hanging those RL's on the wall!

    Ralf,

A great work/desklight.  I think Richard Sapper is one of the great product designers of the last 30 years.  His kettle and coffee maker for Allessi are beautiful and still in production.  The original IBM Thinkpad is still one of the best designed of all the PC-based (i.e. non-Apple) laptops, and in such a rapidly changing technology market, that is no mean achievement.

Those are some nice, clean apartment photos... And thanks to all of you who liked my living room picture! It does kind of have that B&O catalog look. That was always my intention from the very beginning. Smile

Very nice, I almost bought that exact lamp you have on the table! I still might for one corner, but for now I went with a Alessi paper lantern.

I've been very impressed by many of the systems and rooms in this thread, in fact it's prompted me to finally get off my backside and work on my setup/room. I started out very well, but over the years entropy and the fact we tend towards being packrats had degraded the look of the room. So, this has inspired me to redecorate some, throw much unused stuff out, and such. I'll have to post some photos when I finally get thru and can be proud of my decor again!

    Re: Flash your B&O!

We had our first real cold weather yesterday, so I got the fire going in my little Danish wood stove. I photographed the room again with the cozy fire in the background for added effect. I can't say that I'm excited to see the snow coming again, but it sure makes for some nice photos. The kitchen and dinette area is on a raised level above the living room, so we can comfortably watch a movie during dinner.
