    Re: Flash your B&O!

    Hello,

It's my first post in this forum. I'm french, 31 years old and I like B&O since I was 15. I read this forum for 1 year because I bought at this time my first B&O product : a second hand 2300 with a pair of 4000. Then I bought other items to fit with the house I was trying to restore : a lab 11 and a pair of 6000, a 3500... At this time, I've only bought audio products

Now the project is finished and I can post some pictures.

Thank you for this so good forum !

    Oliw

And my bedroom. I use the 3500 almost every day. It's really good to have music in this room. All my system is masterlinked and i use airplay everywhere. I like this setup ;) !

a wonderful collection - the Beovirus' bite was deep and the infection quite bad Laughing

great pictures - thank you for sharing

and I think you woodwork and design is outstanding - such an inspiration and it makes the speakers look terrific

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

    Re: Flash your B&O!

    Søren Hammer:

Found a teak Beomaster 3400 with matching Beovox S-35's at the local Salvation Army. Everything works, just in need of idle current adjustments.

Maybe this could form the base of a four-channel system with a Beogram 3400 fitted with CD-4 board, some S-45's as front speakers Hmm

That project could be kinda fun to try out, though I don't have the space for it and I probably won't have until I have moved into my own house in many years! For the record, I am living at home with my parents, 18 years old Whistle

That is beautiful, Soren. Absolutely loving the light wood tone!

I live at home too.. As my BeoCollection thrived I was forced to conquer more space so that it could grow Devil. As a result of my campaign, I now occupy almost an entire floor!!! - the basement! Laughing

    Thanks, Evan!

It's nice to know that I'm not alone when it comes to be a young BeoCollector! I have several systems in storage unfortunately Unsure

The Teak veneer is actually a little different compared to my normal preferences, I tend to like rosewood better, having all other systems in rosewood; but the teak really adds a contrast to the anodised black aluminum topplate of the Beomaster Cool

    No problem Soren Smile

All of my vintage kit is rosewood too. However, I have been a huge fan of the oak and teak stuff all along.

I say you should get firm with those parents of yours and spread out all of that magnificent Beo! LaughingLaughing

You are so lucky starting to collect BEO products in your age. I needed to grow up a little more to be infected by the BEO Virus.

    Hi Hiort,

    Thanks for your comment!

Yes, the Beocom 2 in polished alu is amazing and not bling at all cause it's like BL8000 that reflects the wall color.

I chose it because its look made me feel like the old PanAm airplanes ;)

It's not very sensitive to fingerprints and I think that most of the hairline scratches won't be visible in such a polished finish.

I didn't connect them to the BV10 yet because of the chimney that doesn't allow me to put a ML cable between the BL9000 and the TV.

Put the Beolab 8000s on either side if the BV10 (connected to the TV). Masterlink the 9000 to the BV10 and put this between the frireplace and the TV. Your BV10 speaker will become a centre channel if you set it in Speaker 3.

So that back wall will be:

    fireplace -> Beosound 9000 -> Beolab 8000 -> Beovision 10 -> Beolab 8000

You'll then have a nice big wall to hang some art Yes - thumbs up
