tournedos:
bayerische: You got Beolab 5000 speakers Mika?
Yes!
Been in storage ever since I bought them early last year, waiting for
me to get a wall. I'm pretty eager to get them running now... These
8000's are the pair we discussed a couple of weeks ago; if they become
surplus to requirements, you still have the first dibs
OK, good, I'm interested for sure! PM me if you want. The Beolab5000 I would love to have those!

soundproof:
My vintage B&O moves into the main listening room, and is connected to analog speakers that create a soundscape quite reminiscent in the top and mid-tones of the BL5s they have replaced - though not delivering quite the same authoritative punch in the netherlands of sound!
Oh, that's nice. And being Dutch I quite like the Netherlands of sound too
Beoworld's twenty-eighth ninth prize winner and fifty-first second prize winner. Best £30 I've ever spent!

Well, it's my time to contribute to this thread.
My old beloved LX in the basement "the Swedish Gillestuga". I've connected the MBP to test if I can connect a Mac mini to the TV and use it to play all my albums on iTinues and listen all over the house via ML. Success!

I just love they use a BC 9000 (?). It's at least 20 years old and blends in perfect in this ultra modern flat!

This is a really great thread! A lot of inspiration to be found here. Really impressive systems and some very god looking homes also!
My humble system: Beosystem 7000, Beolink 7000, Master control panel 5500, Beolink 1000, Beosystem AV9000, Beolab Penta, Beovox 100. My own design on the stereo bench.
I have made some updates since the pictures, the Beovox 100 are now used as rear speaker and the Pentas are used for stereosound for the television. The Pentas are updated with new midranges, better op-amps and new capacitors in the filters. The Pentas never stops to impress me, both sondwise and the way that they are so spectacular but still discrete. I have a plan to try driving the pentas with a huge NAD-amplifer (hidden of corse) but I have not got that one yet.
I really would like to copy Peter Pan and use ICE-power, but that is a little to expensive for me at the moment. An other dream is to update the tube to a Beovision 9 or Beovision 10, but that would kind of to destroy the "Retro" feeling
