i've shown this photo before, but thought I'd contribute to this enjoyable thread. I'm still amazed at how well my BV8-26" goes together with my Beosystem 6500, with full remote control through the TV. I also have a BeoLab 2000 connected to the system - it is in the kitchen, and I can dial up the TV-sound from the BeoLab 2000, when I want to, without the tv-screen lighting up.

What other HiFi-manufacturer has thought of making that possible, with products that span 20 years!

I love the white one.   Can you use a BL11 with a non B&O receiver? I've got just the spot for one, and it's not too expensive :-)

This is my new 7000 system including Beomaster 7000, Beogram CD7000 and Beolink 7000. I bought the Beolink from Beoworld Sales forum some weeks ago and since I got it I "had" to buy some two-way system as my BM4500 was one-way only version. My plan was to replace the 4500 system (BM+CD) at work with the 7000 but now as I have tested the 7000s I would like to keep that at home... Meaning that it would replace either my living room setup (Beocenter 9000+Beolab Pentas) or my workbench-Beomaster 3000. I wouldn't like to get rid of the BC9000 and the 7000 is a bit too good for a workbench-system. On the other hand the Beovox 3000 panel speakers at work would match the finish of these... so I really haven't decided, yet.  

CD7000 was not reading any discs when it arrived but a gentle cleaning of the laser and now it works CD-Rs without problems. Both are in pretty good condition, little scratches there and there but nothing that shows until close-look.

Really nice system and I especially like the CD-drawer!

Below my set up.

My BG 2404, Just finished recording some 60 LPs and about 350 Singles to my computer, still to do some 50 Singles, and thursday our intelligent, beautifull and very efficient house cleaning assistent, broke my MMC 2, I'm so happy

The BS 3000 and BL 4000 was smugled to Mexico in 2 Back packs, bought by Radio Loft in Aarhus 2003, the BL 8000, I bought on Ebay 2006, UPS from San Francisco to Laredo TX, from there my customs agent took them in his privat car to Mexico city, connected and plaing ever since. We have a lot of black and brown outs her in Mex city, and the first couple of years I was running without any power back up, my B and Os survived without any problems, a Panasonic 37" plasma, micro ovens coffee brewer/grinder did not.

I'm now waiting for a BM 901 and BVox S45 (83-85), bought on Ebay, have to pick them up in McAllen TX.

Love this. Best looking B&O TV in my opinion. Also love the Beosystems 5500/6500/7000. Final system on my list to have. It all looks brilliant together.

I am not sure I understand why the BL 4000s are mounted next to the BL 8000s

Are they connected to different systems (Video versus Audio) that are not linked ?

I bought this house 2 years ago and thats where the speakers landed, after 2 years the house is nearly finished and the BL 4000 goes to the dining room.

They are parallel connected to the BS 3000, all sound goes through BS 3000. DVD, Sky box, Computer, flat screen and BG 2404.

It sounds good thoug, the speakers somehow complement each other.

I guess thats what you called parallel connected in one of you're earlier posts. I just couldn't remember if the 8000s had 2 powerlink ports to do this.
