Peter Pan:
Peter Pans home bio BV 7-40" mk III Full HD TV.
.
Beautiful. Are there windows behind the curtains or are they merely decorative. They look wonderful with the B and O and would seem to provide a great way to hide wires, electrical outlets etc.

do you have the fridge in the living room?? :).nice room though
Not really....the living space is open plan and I am stood in the first part of the kitchen to take the shot. The flat has built in fridge/freezer but I love my SMEG too much to part with it. Plus, it matches the Avant and Cona!

At present they are the rears with the 9s. I want to move them into the room with the Avant and use the 6000s as rears but my wife wont let me. She likes the sound the 1s produce as rears and does not think the 6000s are big enough. She has said she would consider allowing 8000s for the rears.

1s as rears is great - your rooms must shake if you're watching/listening in 5.1!

Ah this is very NICE! I love the 90's setups SO much more than the 00's setups
You have red 1's in the same room as blue 9's? wow, interesting colour combinations i must say
God i miss my BeoLab 1's

Yes, it is an interesting color combination. Have not been able to justify the cost of a pair of blue Beolab 8000s. And when watching tv the red is behind us. LOL

It is a Beosystem 1 cabinet. It was designed to have a Beosystem 1 in the bottom and DVD etc. We found it at a B and O dealer with no Beosystem in it. It houses our voltage stabilizer, power conditioner, BluRay and Apple TV.

Nice setups, Razlaw. I recall from earlier posts that you have 2 BeoLab 6000s as the surrounds? I have two blue (older, darker shade of blue) with my Avant in the bedroom. It might be useful for you to know that the older shade of blue BeoLab 6000s had midnight blue frets. The newer blue BeoLab 6000s come with black frets. Perhaps the blue frets are still available from B&O as spare parts. I think the newer shade of blue as the aluminum casings would be better with your setup (perhaps with midnight blue frets). The older shade of blue looks almost black unless in direct lighting.
No 6000s as surrounds. Am using the blue Beolab 9s in front and burgundy Beolab 1s as rears. We have a pair of burgundy 4000s and 6000s. At present the 4000s are not being used. I am thinking of using the 6000s to get7.1 when the new 7-55 with AST arrives and placing the 4000s where the 6000s currently are.
