My wife likes the design because she thinks she can "dress" the BeoVision in fabrics of her choice ... not sure what that would do to the sound quality !
My white speakercover is just a simple DIY.
A thin elastic fabric taped on the back of the orginal just to test the color...

Hey Jeff! Look at this!
Just picked up the lot about 2 hours ago
A Beomaster 3000-2 with a pair of Beovox S45-2 speakers!
If you that cannot read the label, it says TYPE 2402!
The BM is in absolutely amazing condition with less than a handful of tiny marks. The speakers are aslo in great condition, even the woofer rings are still intact!
Sounds incredible!
Apologies for the terrible pictures, they were taken with my cell. I originally took several more with my digital camera but could not find the cord! Once I can locate the usb cable I will post the good pictures.

Hebo, which one do you prefer the picture quality and sound of? The 5 or the 10?

@ Hebo
You have a very nice setup! I have also a BV 5 and I doubt between a BV 10 or a BV 7. But is the BV 10 better then the BV 5? How many HDMI connections has the BV 10? Blu-Ray and HDMI connections are the reasons why I want to change of TV.

With all this talk about HD, I went for the BV10 and I will nerver regret it.
The picture is amazing when you watch an HD broadcast, and very good with non HD-material. And the design is "BV5-like"
But I still like my BV5 as much as I cant get rid off it.
BV5 is outstandning when you watch SD-signals,
and it will always be the TV that made the most impact on me ever, when I first saw it back in 2002

Good lad!
With local pickup in your vicinity (and at that price) it was a steal.
Congratulations!
Stick with us... we'll take care of you!
P.S. Don't worry about rot -they are rubber... and excellent speakers!

I'm calling it an early birthday present haha. This system puts out some of the best sound I have ever heard. The speakers are simply incredible. Can't wait to listen to it some more when I get home today.
Thank you for alerting me to the listing by the way!

Wow!!! What a great shot and a lovely collection :) I hadn't appreciated quite how big the BL5000s are - they even make the BM8000 look small.
I really like the Heuer bag BTW - is it vintage or a repro as I'd love one?

The 5000s are enormous. They look much bigger leaning against the wall on the floor than they do when properly hanging.

Yes they are absolutely enormous the Lab 5000's. I have been contemplating hanging the speakers, however I'm not sure whether it will suit this particular room. (Low ceiling as it's a loft) Maybe just upright at 90 degrees but resting on the floor would be fine.
Heuer bag I got from my old place of work, Classic Throttle Shop in Sydney.
We got only a few of the bags and I snapped one up straight away. Its not vintage, but a great bag nonetheless.
As for the B&O's, I dont know where it will end. So many amazing systems that I want and will hopefully have…..
Once the Beosystem 8000 is complete, a Beosystem 6500 will be on the list.

Hi Lex - thanks for the info on the bag. Will try to track one down on the internet.
Good luck with your 8000 Beobits search. I hear the components are hard to track down in Aus, but hopefully you can find what you're looking for. It took me about 2ish years here in the UK! Other members have seen this before, but this is how good a full 8000 system can look:
