    Beogram 9000

    Hi...

I am new to this site and a new owner of the Beocentre 9000.  I previously asked a question about turntables in the general forum.  Anyway...I am looking for a compatable Beogram for my Beocentre 9000...and wondered if anyone could steer me to the best direction here.

I have looked through Ebay, with no luck at the moment.  Is the Beogram 9000 difficult to find?  Is it a good match?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Steve

I don't think it is a very good match - it is a standard square deck. The Beogram 3000 tangential deck has a sloping front like the Beogram 9500 and is also far easier to find. Mechanically, these decks are essentially identical.

    Re: Beogram 9000

I've never understood the design of the Beogram 9000, as a match for the BC9000 it just doesn't work. As Peter has already mentioned the BG3000 is a far better match along with the BG3300. Not only are these 2 decks a better cosmetic match but they are both likely to be a fair bit cheaper & easier to find than the 9000.

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.
