    PC hangs when windows enter standby

    When Windows try to enter standby/sleep the PC hangs. The display turns off, but the PC keeps running but will not respond. It is then necessary to turn off the PC on the main power.

    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and Beoport version 5.03 (newest).

    The most odd thing is that is worked for a week ago!

    The event log reports a critical error: Kernel Power event 41.

    Happened to me as well! The reason was Beoport, when I close Beoport/Beoplayer and the resident part from the icon in the status bar, the standby will work. I do not know of a workaround.
