When i pres the "Power off" button on my BEO 5-remote it shuts down and reset the battery.

I Have used the latest Config tool 3.57 and the firmware is 1.41e.

Re: Problem with the XML-file for WB Electronics RE-BL PS3-adapter

I'm working with Config Tool V3.0 and it works.

Which file did you use? The one from Keith? I didn't have the time to check his latest version, will try it this weekend.

The PS3 should only power off. What do you mean by "battery reset"?

I used the fil from WB electronics homepage.

Battery reset = The remote turns off and restart with no battery

How many different files is available?

You can download the XML file I modified HERE for testing with the latest version of the B&O Configuration Tool.

Does this Battery Reset happen every time you press Power or did it just happen once.

If you upgrade from an old firmware version the Battery level is reset.

I know the battery reset can occur when you opgrade firmware. But I can tell you that the new config tool 3.57 updates your remote with new firmware(1.42a) without battery reset.

The XML-fil I have the problem with every time I pressed Power is from WB-electronics homepage.

But rigth now I am testing af version from Keith. And it seems to work.

    guffas:

With previous firmware updates the above statement is true. However when you update the firmware to 1.42a the battery is unaffected by the update as some members have already noted.

I Have now tested your modified version 2.

I have tested it with firmware 1.42a and the power off button works fine.

But why have you used the makro-function to give two extra "arrow up" commands when you pres the POWER OFF button?
