I guess a reasonable pricing is a priority for B&O to keep up the success from BV10-40.

I think I misuse the word "article" it´s part of a piece where they present new tech-gadgets, and the BV 10-46 is featured(with a picture of the 10-40 of course). The only part of interest is the price, and they obviously  seem to have got that part wrong.

I just checked with my local dealer in Zurich, the BV10-40" is around CHF 8000, he expects the BV10-46" to come around CHF 3000 more, so at around CHF 11.000.

When I checked with my dealer in Amsterdam, the BV10-40" is around EUR 5400, and he expected the BV10-46" to be EUR 2000 more, so at around EUR 7500

With currenct exchange rate of EUR/CHF at 1.4655, I think it is safe to assume that the BV10-46" will be priced around EUR7500/CHF 11.000

I don't know the U.S. prices.

I've already upgraded my BV 7-32 to a BV 10-40, thinking a larger screen wouldn't be available within the year. The 46" screen will be more appropriate in my living. I'll try to negociate a change.

Does anyone know the dimensions? I supposed it could be around 1,20 x 1,20 m. Do you also knowif the wall bracket will be the same for both versions?

Concerning the wall bracket, according to my dealer in Zurich, the wall bracket will not be uniform for the BV10-40" and "46.

Dimension wise it is rather difficult to tell the size, although the ratio for both the 40" and 46" is expected to remain the same, so do the math.

I heard that B&O will officially unveil the BV10-46 in mid-April.

Around 7500EUR is also the price I've heard from a dealer. This will be without the anti-glare screen which will be approx. 940EUR as I understood.

According to a normally quite good source, the retail price in Denmark including a Beo4 and DVBHD will be 54990 DKK excluding the anti-glare and 61995 DKK including the anti-glare coating.

The current price for BV10-40 in Denmark is 43495 and 48995 for the versions without and with the coating.

This indicates a 26% priceincrease over the 40 inch.

Yeah, I also had it confirmed by B&O themselves and a dealer. So it sound very plausible

It'll be interesting. According to what I heard the BV10-46 looks a bit wider although it's not. I'ts probably because if the speaker grille.

Dimensions of the bv10-46 are bxhxd 114 x 103.5 x 6.9 including bracket.

Above that my dealer confirmed that pricing in NL will be between 7500 and 8000 euro.

I 2nd the 2 way remote, but I am thinking they first should spend some time gather feedback what people really want from a BS5.

For example, MOTS within category to filter out holiday themed songs and gapless playing for concerts, classic and DJ mixes without gaps for non windows media file formats.

There is probably more from people who actually bought that thing, I am still holding my breath for the above, I could maybe live without a 2 way remote for a little longer.

I think that anyone who like the BeoSound 5 but has certain reservations about missing features or is unsatisfied with some of the way it handles certain things will be assuaged within the next few months. 

I think that people who are concerned that there is no viable way to interface with the BeoSound 5 in link rooms will be assuaged by fall.

I don't know why I think these things. I just do sometimes.

Its true MOTS does put Christmas music in the playlist.  However its just like taking down the Christmas tree after the holidays.  I deleted the Christmas music.

Maybe you press B.WAX!  Of course it will work along with other devices.  PhilLondon's explanation is very clear.  Its a wifi enabled spec that should map to any connection including for example A.AUX on a Beosound 9000 or BCS.  In this case IR doesn't matter.  Besides iPhone, it should work with iPod touch and probable with the iPad.  Look at the thread about the iPhone controlling the new gateway Official: iPhone to controle B&O equipment!

According to FlatpanelsHD BV10-46 will be exhibited on the 14th of April. I guess we have an official price on that date as well.
