    beogram 2400 problem

    Hello,

I have a problem with my beogram 2400: when I press start sometimes it does not run. I must press, run and 33 to make it work. A small indicator (like a red circle) is also illuminated on the control panel (what does it meens ?).

Help please ! Do I need to change the belt, or is it something else.

Best regards from France, under the snow today.

    Pascal

Hmm, I don't have a "start" button on my 2400. I have a "turn" button. But yes, if you are playing a 33rpm record then you should be pressing the "33" part of the button.

Different 2400s I think. The first one is the later model with the sloping front. I doubt it is the belt but more likely a corroded contact. Keep pressing it and see if repeated use improves it - or it will need dismantling and cleaning. The light shows the speed selected.

The second 2400 is the pretty earlier square one with the rectangular control button - very nice! I'd love a good quality picture!

Very nice deck - I am looking for a picture for Beocentral - I edit out the background - this is one of my old decks before editing - actually fairly similar to the 2402. I need a pale background and all the deck - you will get the credit on the site!
