    Re: Basic Beo 5 question

I agree. The dealer I have been talking to has no clue either. I guess I should have said  a dealer SHOULD be able to program it. Now just have to find the right dealer with the right expertise.

    Re: Basic Beo 5 question

I am not really interested in doing the programming myself at this time. I will stick with the Beo 4. The problems being able to self program it (something other universal remote manufacturers have no problem with) as well as dealers' uncertainty about programming have taken the fun out of buying one.

    Re: Basic Beo 5 question

Hello - I just purchased my Beo5 last week and have been playing around with creating XML files with LinTronic with success.

My question is simply, how do I create macro's in the Beo5 configurator software? With macro I mean: when I press TV I would like my Panasonic plasma to tunr on, my Denon receiver to turn on and open for the set top box aux input etc.

This has all been perfectly possible with my LinTronic box - is it also possible with the Beo5 so I at one single push of a button activate all of the above?

If so, how do I program this in he Beo5 configurator please (the xml files for 3rd party have been created and work).

    Many thanks, BeoMedia
